No student should be given a faulty or substandard instrument. If it needs repair, it needs to be fixed properly and returned in a reasonable amount of time.

Instruments should be setup properly for any level of player. This is the reason we sell instruments. Because of several unethical manufacturers and their associated retailers, students are at the highest risk ever of losing musical interest right from the beginning. We can only do what we can to keep the standards as high as possible, and hope consumers can see through the “cheap price” mentality. Let’s face it...the kid is who gets hurt.
